Origin of The Earth (No.6)

Do we understand the meaning of our lives when we think about the origin of the earth?
(No.6)

(December 23, 2008, No.9)

Hello. This is Dragon. This is now the six of the series of “Do we understand the meaning of our lives when we think about the origin of the earth?”. Today’s blog is the last of the series.

It is the continuation of "an old tale " which is told as a parable to teach you about man's "Roots".

Action of the young man whose torii was destroyed ------

G: One of the toriis was destroyed with no respect to how hard it was for him to have made it. First, he went to the site and picked up the broken pieces of the torii. He then returned to his home and several hours later, he went to see the elder’s son who had destroyed the torii.

D: Ah-, my heart starts beating…!

G: “The young man said to the culprit.

"You destroyed the torii I made, however, I will not blame you if you wear this charm which I made from a piece of the destroyed torii?"

It was a lucky charm in the shape of a fish. The young man made it with love. He worried that the elder’s son would seriously suffer from his action because the young man was pious and believed in gods and in Buddha.

D: Wow. He is a really good man!

G: Yes, his actions are very honorable, he sympathizes with the culprit who hates him. When the elder's son accepted the lucky charm, he became awkward, and took it silently.

Several months later, something unusual happened to the culprit who is also a young fisherman.

D: His ship sank?

G: “No, something else happened! The young culprit was protected by the lucky charm. His fish haul went up. Only his ship began to caught fish and none of the other villagers.

One day, the elder asked his son: What are you doing different than the others? His son reviewed his steps in detail, the same ship, the same bait, and the same bay. The only difference was ・・・・・ at that time, as if he had been struck by lightning he realized the difference.

The only difference from the other fishermen was the “lucky charm”.

The elder son was changed on that day. He apologized to the hero and made a vow to be his comrade and began ardently beautifying the mountains.

At the elder's request, lucky charms were made for the other fishermen. In time the pollution from the mountains ceased and fish came back to the bay.

Their haul increased and 3 years later, the story ended as you are thinking.

D: The tourism plan was withdrawn.

G: Yes.(*゜▽゜ノノ゛☆」

D: Ah, great! Great for the young man!

What was the “Roots” for this young man?

G: Now the old tale ends. How did you like it? Did you get what his roots are?

D: Well, for one, his strong intention, it is an honorable root. The young culprit who broke the torii might have been a root for the hero as well as the sea and the mountains.

G: Exactly. When he made the decision to increase the haul, which was to do it at any cost, that was his intention and the beginning of the "roots". He fed the roots by studying with books, his own experience and other things. However the most important thing above all was a “root” of zeal which never be wavered.

D: Indeed…

G: There might be the word "Nezasu (rooting)". The root (Ne) is piercing the earth (zasu). Only the rooting is important, thrusting deeply into the ground. In that sense, it can be said that this young man's roots thrust quite deep.

D: Ah, I think I understand. In another words, it may be a strong root called “Faith”.

G: Yes, and his "Strength of Spirit (Kikotsu)" which made it happen. This also is very important, remember it.

D: Strength of Spirit! Faith and Strength! I will remember.

“Roots” will change and evolve……

G: Well, the elder's son became a lifetime friend of the hero. By the way, the roots of these two actually changed.

D: What? Stuck together?

G: Yes, that is right. This is the case where each root connects with another like the intertwined branches of trees with their roots growing deeper.

D: Oh, this is terrific!

G: By the say, this phenomenon has happened between you and your brother.

D: Yes, I think so.

G: Always express your gratitude for your existence. Do you understand the theme of finding the meaning of your life.

D: The meaning of life is clear if we understand the origin of the earth, isn't it?

G: Indeed... However, knowing the roots is only the first step. Look at your roots, there are always right and wrong answers. Take it easy.

D: Thank you very much. We started talking about the ways of gods at first, but it has gotten bigger.

G: Indeed, this is only the beginning. In the unknown world, there is a depth that exceed your imagination, Dragon. By the way, I have more to tell the nature of god. May I do so in the end? It might become one sided message from me.

D: Of course, please!

G: Thank you. Well I have explained the deep love of plants. Plants have helped men by answering their efforts to cultivate them and nourish their bodies. However, man is not showing its gratitude properly as he is unabashedly destroying nature. (Of course not all men.)

D: It is sad....

G: It is very sad.... Man has been warned for a long time about the destruction of the environment which has advanced to considerable level. I don't think the god of nature is pleased about that.

D: If I were the god, I would be mad.

G: Me, too. In fact the god of nature is very angry. So, I, who is on man's side, try to come down the god of nature. All of you reading this blog, I want you to respect nature including you, Dragon. I don't want you to wast what you eat and want you to express your gratitude for nature's love.

D: Yes, we will express our gratitude and our respect.

G: Thank you. Plants existence could be man's teacher. In fact, there are a lot of things that plants try to each man by their being. I want you to understand this. As for me, I do not want you to think of this in the negative, I never threaten man. If I express myself in harsh words, it is to impress upon you that destroying, or not, the earth depends on whether man creates its roots (intention) in his mind first.

D: The root in one's mind... Indeed. I will learn from plants and pay attention to roots (intention) and do good things for man.

G: Thank you, I will end this story. It was long, but you did a good job.

D: Not at all, thank you very much. I learned a lot.

G: See you soon.

End.

It was a very long story, but did you enjoy it? As for me, I haven't understood completely but I would like to make the most, that I can, of what I have learned here. (Dragon)

Origin of The Earth (No.5)

Do we understand the meaning of our lives when we think about the origin of the earth? (No.5)

(December 22, 2008, No. 8)

G: Guardign deity, Kamisama
D: Dragon (Younger brother)
A: Aniki (Channeler, Older brother)

To understand the meaning of “Roots”, Kamisama asked me what do I need to know. He said that the answer is very simple… (The hint is already shown in the previous conversation.)

What do we need to do to know the meaning of roots...

D: To know the meaning of roots... Ah, first, start looking for the things we appreciate around us. Another thing is to find out what makes us as we are now. Also, look for the things we are passionate about.

G: Indeed, all of them are wonderful answers. However, what do you need to do before that?

D: Before that?

G: So. Your answers today are all wonderful, but what do you need to do before that? It came out of a previous conversation.

D: Things I need to do before. What do I need….?

G: Simply? There is roots or there is not…?

D: There is?, there isn’t? ・・・Ah!!! It is existence, isn’t it?

G: Yes! That is right! It is "Existence"! First, we need to recognize that there is roots. Everything starts from their existence.

D: I see! First, there is existence. Do I just accept the idea of “I have roots”?

G: Indeed! You have roots. It is just okay to recognize existence, that is the most important thing.

D: Indeed! I see, but what will change if existence is recognized?

G: Ha, ha, ha. It is up to you, man’s free will. You can think freely. For a person might be a family, and for another it might be money, lover, hobbies, books, companies, and parents, etc…There are unlimited choices, each person can have different roots from others and it is okay. Of course, it doesn’t matter how many.

D: Ah, I am relieved you said so. For instance, can I change today's roots from tomorrow's roots?
G: Yes, it is quite okay. But the true root doesn’t die.

D: I see….. If I recognize my existence, I can see roots automatically!

G: By the way, roots are just a metaphor and can’t be seen. In the composition of roots, there is an external factor that Dragon mentioned a little while ago and there is an internal factor, too.

D: Internal factor? Is it my feeling?

G: Yes, it is. Man's behavior changes depending on feelings. Man's behavior starts from feelings. If roots are the function of absorbing, it is also equipped with releasing function. That is action.

D: Ahhhhh… Complicated!!!

A hint for roots is in an old tale…

G: Ha, ha, ha. Then, let’s me tell you an old tale. There may be a hint in it.

D: Ah. That is great!

G: It may be a long story, but keep listening.

D: No, no! You are the ones that have hang on !

G: Thank you. ・・・ Once upon a time, actually it was in a modern time, there was a fishing village in a remote place in Japan. The fisherman’s haul decreased every year, and in the last few years it was especially pitiful to look at. The village was on the verge of a crisis.

There was a young man who came from a long line of fishermen. He had a degree in Fisheries' Science and had graduated recently. The crisis came just as he was about to take an active part as fisherman.

The elders in the village had come to a decision which made his heart sink.

D: What did the elders decide?

G: They decided to give up the fishing business. The fishermen in the whole village made a decision to stop fishing completely, and they decided to build up the land as a sightseeing spot within three years.

The young man was heartbroken. He had loved the sea since he was a child. Finally there was his chance to be a fisherman...

He thought that if they found the cause of the poor catch, they could find a solution, and the elders' opinion might be overturned.

From that point on, he studied desperately. He thought that he could revive the haul. He had a time limit of three years.

Now, Dragon. Do you see roots here?

D: What? ・・・・・・ fisherman's lineages ・・・ ? poor catch?

G: Of course, it could be, but I want you to pay attention to his “Feelings”. He wants to increase the haul within three years at any cost. His enthusiasm has become 'Roots' for him.

D: Indeed… Feeling, determination, it is an excellent root!

G: Yes, it is. Let’s continue the story.

The young man studied very hard and searched over and over until one day he found something which could be the cause of the poor catch.

Cause of the poor haul...

That was something was the“Mountains”

D: Wow! Mountains? Isn’t it opposite! Why?

G: Mountains in the vicinity were dirty, and pollutants flowed out of them to the sea. It is a story that often exists in Japan.

Either way, he thought that pollution was the cause of the poor haul.

That same day, the young man went to the mountains and began to clean them thoroughly. A lot of garbage was collected, abandoned refrigerators, TV sets, cars, vinyl products, and corrugated cardboard.., and he recycled as much as possible. If he didn’t recycle, they might be thrown away by someone else again.

Then, he negotiated with a factory on the mountains, and made them stop pouring away the pollutants. It was a touching and powerful action.

However the people in the village were still closed to his solution. They were backbiting him, and they were still throwing away garbage on the mountain with an air of ostentatious pride. There even was a person who dispersed excreta, saying that “If you have time to beautify the mountain, why don’t you have time to catch fish?”

The young man was completely perplexed. What can he do to make them stop polluting the mountains any further?

He found the answer in a newspaper. There was an article about the torii (a gateway to a Shinto shrine) which was drawn on the walls. Man stopped urinating on the walls with these drawings. A simple but powerful solution, however, the torii cannot be drawn on mountains.

So, he built a genuine torii. There were seven mountains in the village, seven toriis were made by him and set up by each entrance.

D: Powerful! I respect him…

G: Great deed! The villagers should have been proud of the clean mountains and toriis, which would have helped them with the touristic attractions, but they were against him because he was against the tourism.

One day, an incident occurred. A son of the elder who was of the same age as the young man broke one of the toriis.

D: What! Terrible…

G: Well, Dragon. If you were this young man, what would you do?

D: Hum… I would simply attack him?

G: Ha, ha, ha. Dragon, you are tough, but he didn’t do that. Actually, after this, what he did changed the future of the village.

(It is getting too long but thank you for reading. The next time, it starts from the continuation of this story.)

Origin of The Earth (No.4)

Do we understand the meaning of our lives when we think about the origin of the earth? (No.4)

(December 21, 2008 No.7)

G: Guardian deity, Kamisama
D: Dragon (Younger brother)
A: Aniki, (Channeler, Older brother)

Now, according to Kamisama, now, there is a point that man needs to learn from plants. Let’s think about it.

The answer is unexpected…

D: The difference between animals and plants are plants have it, but animals don't have?

G: Yes, It is simple. Look at the foliage plant next to you.

D: Ah, a leaf?

G: Boo, not a leaf.

D: Shoot! Then, stems, flowers, roots!

G: Ha, ha, ha. Your strategy is to say it all. Of course, there is an answer in there. What do you think?

D: What, then, Ah, what is it? Just roots, maybe!

G: Correct! correct answer! Dragon, you so understand well, it is roots. Now, the point that man should learn the most about is “Roots”.

D: Lucky guess!, but it is an unexpected answer. Roots…

G: Then what does man need to learn from the roots of plants. Let’s think.

D: Please!

What is the earth made of…

G: Let's review for a moment before we start talking about roots. What was the origin of the earth?

D: There was fireworks like a Japanese sparkler and gases and dust created electricity which made them gathered together.

G: Yes, that is. That was a prototype of the planet. Then, what made the earth the way it is now?

D: What? By chance, could it be roots?

G: Bingo! It is so. After the earth hardened, the thing that made the earth was “Roots”.

D: Hmm, excuse me. I don’t understand well.

G: It is okay not to understand. It is natural. Then, let me explain slowly. For instance, Dragon, do you understand what causes a flood?

D: Ah! I have heard that when a hill is deforested too much, and the landslide will happen.

G: “Yes. Though there is various causes of flood, in a lot of cases, harvesting timber triggers it. The other day, floods occurred in foreign countries because of excessive deforestation. By the way, the reason of deforestation was a factory construction by Japanese businesses.

D: Uwaa ・・・ Is it so? It is a shame ・・・.

G: Oh well, I will wait for the next chance to discuss this story, but roots support the earth, supply water, and create circulation. It is understood that roots of plants are very important for these reasons. In other words, it is roots that gave its substance.

D: Indeed. Certainly, ...may be so.

What does “Roots” mean to you?

G: Then, again, I have a question for you. Dragon, what does “Roots” mean to you?

D: What? What? My roots? No, it is probably a parable though I don’t have roots.

G: Of course, it is a parable which you are good at. Now what is Dragon's root?

D: Hmm…, my parents? Yes? Or my experience? Or?

G: Wonderful! That is good thinking. Yes, you can have many roots.

D: However, it is difficult because I have never thought about what are my roots. Ah, but musicians often refer to their musical roots to explain their genre.

G: Yes, but that is about music and different the “Roots” we are discussing now.

D: Sorry. Is it like “Roots of Life”? Hmm, really, what are my roots?

G: Okay, let's think together while I explain the meaning in detail.

D: Yes!

What do roots mean to you? No.2

G: Plants made the earth, they prevent flood, they become the foods that we eat. Their appearance is beautiful, and in addition, they play a major role producing oxygen. Roots are the most important parts of plants. Man can live on the earth because of them. Do you not think it is wonderful?

D: They are a wonderful and valuable beings. Not once, have I never thought of it that way.

G: Okay. Most of people don’t express gratitude for their own existence, and furthermore, they don’t express gratitude for the plants that support them.

D: I need to think about this , but I could live without thinking about it.

G: It is okay one way or the other. However, if you can, I want you to understand that plants exist all around man's feet on the earth and nourish man and love man. By understanding their existence, man can see the meaning of man’s life.

D: Ah, it is a theme of this conversation. By knowing the origin of the earth, man can understand the meaning of life.

G: Yes, here, roots are the important things. There is earth, and there is the earth because there are roots. If man also has roots, what will happen?

D: Hmm? A difficult question… What is going to happen if man has roots?

If the concept of roots is applied to man…?

G: The roots of plants take nourishment, and support the earth. Now if this concept is applied to man...?

D: If there are roots in my mind ・・・what should I say, mental, financial...? Roots take all kinds of nutrition and are saved in the mind so that it can grow. Also, could it enrich the mental soil of the mind, like the earth, and be saved in its memory? Furthermore, can it circulate?”

G: Yes. Don’t you think that is a wonderful world?

D: I see, may be. I just said that, but honestly, I haven’t fully understood. Is there more roots aside the ”root of the mind" which we just talked about.

G: It is so. Though there is no correct answer for this. Each person could have a different answer, it is difficult for everyone to try and find the roots. Then, Dragon, there is another question.

D: Wow! Again

G: “Ha, ha, ha. This is really easy. Now, Dragon, what do you need to do to find your roots? The how to is concealed in the former conversation.”

D: “Uhhhhh….. Please let me think.”

(What should I do to know my roots? It is easy so. I would like everybody to think the subject.)

Origin of The Earth (No.3)

Do we understand the meaning of our lives when we think about the origin of the earth? (No.3)

(December 20, 2008, No.6)

Last time we met, the origin of the universe and earth was roughly taught. We will search for the "Origin of Nature" (plant) this time. There may be many confused people like me out there, I will be pleased if we hang in there together.

What is the difference between a plant and an animal?

G: Now, in order to get to the origin of nature, let’s make up a list about the differences between animals and plants

D: Hmm, ・・・・・・・ Feeling? Words? Action?”

G: It is so. It is a good point. By the way, you said feeling. Dragon, do you think that plants do not have feeling?

D: What do you mean…. Plants have feelings?

G: Ha, ha, ha. You are sharp. Yes, plants also have feelings. It feels glad that it is alive.

D: Wow! Do plants think such things? (I stared at a foliage plant in a coffee shop.)

G: Yes, a leaf thinks every day that it is glad that it is alive!

D: Does that mean that the difference between animals and plants is whether they think "I am glad to be alive or not"?

G: Hum, close! It is better, Dragon. However, even man feels that way.

D: Ah~~~Yes it is. Hmm.

G: Then, why does a plant think it is glad to be alive?

D: Hmm, difficult! Why does a plant…? Well, because it is loved by man? It is pleased? It is useful?

G: Yes, it is so. However, there is something deeper.

D: Something deeper?

G: A plant, itself, thinks that it is glad to be alive even if it is not near an animal. What is the reason?

D: In the origin of the earth, electricity was very important, wasn’t it? It was a catalyst for gas and dust to get together (and become companions). By chance, is that the connection?

G: Of course, a plant has electricity, but this question doesn’t relate to it

D: “・・・・・・・・・・・・・・”

G: It is loved, it pleases, and it is useful and it has a purpose of life. However, there is something more important that should be said. I said differences, actually it is the same as man.”

Secret of life

D: ・・・・・・・・・・ Ah, a similar thing, both have life and death.

G: Nice! There is life and death! Then, in other words?

D: What? No, it might be, and what, in other words, ・・・ It is alive. Death. It is the same…

G: After death, what is left in this world?

D: What? It will be gone.

G: Then, what is alive?

D: Ahhh…. It simply exists.

G: Yes, Bingo! That’s it! That is the secret of life!

D: Ha??? No, excuse me, did I say something good?

G: Didn’t you say “exist”? Are you ready for explanation? It can be described in a wonderful word with only two Chinese (Kanji) characters.

D: Ah,”Sonzai”: Existence?

G: Yes! Existence. Dragon, you got it at last.

D: No, no, I feel like my head is blank…

G: Dragon. Existence. This is the secret of all lives, existence is the most important thing... simply it is there...that is the most beautiful thing.

D: Are you exaggerating...so..? To only exist….. but if a man commits a crime in his existence, isn't it significance?

G: Dragon. Listen carefully. Committing a crime or doing a good deed does not matter if man doesn’t exist? What happens to the actions, good or bad, if man doesn't exist?

D: Ah, man needs to exist first in order to be able to act next.

G: It is so. Recognize the existence first of all thing and bless it, Dragon, and express gratitude. Something can be done only there is existence. Dragon, existence is a big big treasure above all, that the universe gives us.

D: I don’t quite understand, but I am moved. (for a moment, I had something like tears…)

It exists because I want to exist....

G: As for plants, it understands your reaction (the secret pleasure kept in the tears). The plant expresses gratitude for its existence, and that is the reason why it was born.

D: Really? That is the reason? Because it wanted to exist, it exists?

G: Yes, that is one reason.

D: Ah? Then, there is another?

G: Dragon, have you ever loved someone?

D: Yes, I have, of course.

G: Well, that is it, for plants also!

D: Ah? I don’t understand. So sorry.

G: You don’t need to apologize. Dragon, when you fall in love with someone, you have love. Don’t you?

D: Yes. It is so. If I don’t have love within me, I can't love anyone.

G: Plants are also the same. They want to exist, and they want to give of themselves "Their existence" to all living things around them. This is a same principle as man’s love for someone else.

D: ・・・・・・・・ If it is true, there is deep love living in each plant, isn’t there?

G: Isn't it convincing? For instance, do you feel hostility in plants?

D: No, not at all. I always respect their existence and they live only on water, soil, and light.

G: Plants are wonderful. If your feeling of love exists, plants are pleased, too. Dragon, always let your actions reflect your good feelings. A plant is “a living thing of love and existence”. It shows its love for man by just being "Existence". Do you understand? Man can live on the earth because of existence (love) of plants.

D: Indeed…

G: Plants exist, and want to offer their joy of living to man. It is one reason why plants were born, and you could say, above all, that this is the base of "Existence". Dragon, express your gratitude to plants every day.

D: I understand, thank you very much. Somehow, I knew that the reason why I respected a cetain people for a long time was because they loved plants.

G: That is right. A man who loves plants is a person who loves earth. It is a person worth respecting. Now Dragon, next question. There are many differences between man and plants, but there is a main point that man should learn. What do you think?

D: Hummmm…. Again another difficult question. A point that man should learn from plants…. Not only love or existence?

G: No. It isn't an answer from this story. Now think back to the differences between animals and plants.

D: Differences between animals and plants, difference, difference, what is the difference…

G: Animals don’t have it, but plants have it.

D: Animals don’t have it, and plants have it…..???

Origin of The Earth (No.2)

Do we understand the meaning of our lives when we think about the origin of the earth? (No.2)

(December 19, 2008, No.5)

Last time, I talked about the origin of the earth and I was told that the hint is "the sun"...
It is really difficult! (Did anyone think about that?)

G: Guardian deity, Kamisama
D: Dragon (Younger brother)
A: Aniki (Older brother)

Can we understand the origin of the universe from the sun?

G: Well, how did you do? Dragon, do you think of anything?

D: The function of the sun indicates the function of the universe...?

G: Yes, then, what do you imagine when you think of the sun?

D: Well, I can imagine heat, fire, light, and warmth and ...

G: Yes, it is getting better. Then, the inside of the fire. Let's think about the movement of the fire.

D: That reminds me, the flame of the sun is called solar flare, isn't it? The flame gushes form the sun with a big explosion.

G: You know well. The solar flare, flame, expresses the creation of the universe.

D: Umm... Is it like the big bang imagination?

G: Yes. Your imagination is good, but let's simplify, have you ever had a bonfire?

D: Of course, I love a bonfire!

G: Okay, then if the burnt firewood is thrown at the rock when the bonfire is done, what will happen?

D: Well, the spark scatters.

G: Yes, it does. That expresses the origin of the universe.

D: Wow? I am not sure I understand....

G: Well, then let's compare the same flame with fireworks. There is a Japanese sparkler.

D: Yes, I love fireworks.

G: Imagine that the Japanese sparkler is burning. Many sparks scatter, don't they?

D: Yes. From the middle, small sparks occur and scatter. That is the most beautiful sight.

G: Yes. That is the origin of the universe.

D: When the universe was created, really? The origin of the universe is like Japanese sparkler?

G: In other words, when the universe was created, there were hundreds of millions, trillions of sparks that flew and popped everywhere, like a Japanese sparkler.

D: Hundreds of millions, trillions of sparks...

G: Anyway, it is a great number that man can't even imagine.

Sparks fly !

D: Excuse me, I have another question.

G: Yes, I see it.

D: How do you know what I am going to ask?

(Occasionally the god answers a question before I ask.)

G: There is a nucleus in sparkler seen by microscopes. There is a god who made the nucleus and another god who ignited the Japanese sparkler.

D: And

G: For the time being, I should say that I saw it, but sooner later my role will be clarified.

D: Hmm.

G: Let's continue the story. A great number of sparks flew all over the space. But because of weightlessness in space...

D: They flew straight? (Dragon answers a head of time in rivalry with the god.)

G: Not straight, rather radially. The spark flew radially.

D: (Deflated), Ah, because the universe is round

G: Ha, ha, ha. To be exact, the universe isn't round.

D: Wow! Really?

G: Yah, anyway, the spark flew radially and became stars.

D: Hmm...

G: And of course, there was dust and gases in it. The Japanese sparkler produces smoke, doesn't it?

D: Ah, indeed!

G: The dust and gases flew radially, too. So far away, you can't even imagine it .

D: ...then, it became a planet or something.

G: In the end it did. I feel like answer for you, but do you still understand up to now?

D: Yes, the sun, the fire, I understand that is the origin of the universe.

"Traveling dust and gases"

G: Okay, then let's think about dust and gases next.

D: Dust and gases also traveled.

G: Yes! The expression of traveling is proper. By the way, do you like to travel, Dragon?

D: I love it. Especially, I love to travel overseas by myself.

G: A journey by oneself is a fantastic experience. But, Dragon, when you are alone in a foreign country, do you become lonely?

D: Yes, certainly, sometimes, I would be lying if I said not at all. (very often in reality).

G: It is so. Dust and gases are also the same way.

D: Really? Dust and gases. they feel loneliness, too?

G: Yes, it is so. Let's imagine how it feels for dust and gases flying alone over the vacuum of the darkness of space.

D: Ahh... man feels lonely, but...

G: Ha, ha, ha, it is a mysterious story, isn't it? If it is difficult understand, it is okay. Let's keep talking about it a little more.

D: By all means! I am with you.

G: Well, then, Dragon. When you feel lonely in a foreign country, what do you do?

D: I send e-mails to friends, I talk to people at restaurants, I talk to sales persons at clothing stores, they are friendly, therefore I have long talks with them.

G: I see, dust and gases did the same thing.

D: Wow! Really? Dust and gases have a language? In other words, that means they have intelligence? Do they have soul?

G: There is no language that man can imagine, but Dragon, listen carefully: the second, dust and gases thought "loneliness" their soul was born.

D: ....Certainly, I have heard that the plants have souls and they depend on man's love for their growth. It is the same with dust and gases.

G: You must be surprised, but that is the mystery of creation of the universe.

D: Indeed, and dust and gases gathered and became one. Is that way it happened? Ah..., if I write this on this blog, not only no one will understand but everyone will shy away from it.

G: It might be so. I talk too much.

D: No, I think it is okay. There are readers that will accept such an idea.

G: Yes, I think so, too.

"Is electricity the key?"

G: Then, let's continue a little more. The key to dust and gases getting together is electricity.

D: Electricity? Was there electricity already?

G: Of course, electricity was there, and electricity is the power that gathered the dust.

D: Hum, honestly, I can't understand at all.

G: Ha, ha, ha, Can you imagine how that solitary dust became lonely? Can you?

D: Yes, I can understand up to that.

G: The lonely feeling became electricity. That is the simplest way of explaining it.

D: The lonely feeling became electricity.. By the way, in Japanese, both words "Denki "(electricity) and "Kimochi" (feeling) have the same sound "Ki" in them which means energy.

G: You have noticed a very interesting point. By the way electricity exists in all living things, of course in man as well. And the main characteristic of electricity is that it needs to be near a living thing.

D: "Hmm, why does electricity want to be near a living thing?

G: I will explain it at another time. Just remember that electricity has such characteristics. Then, Dragon, do you understand static electricity?

D: Yes, I understand it. When I was a child, I played with a plastic plate and rubbed it on my head. My hair stood on end and stuck to the plate. Is that it?

G: Yes, dust at that time rubbed and was rubbed by other dust along with a little electricity. The electricity held the dusts together into groups and again held the groups together.

D: It is an amazing story.

G: It was just a little bit of electricity, but it solidified the dusts into unions which evolved into very big electric bodies: planets

G: Dragon, do you understand? The earth was created thus.

D: Then, the earth is....

G: Yes, the earth is "electricity"

D: Wow, an amazing story, I am so confused...

G: It must be difficult, but I tried to explain it as easily as possible. I am using your imagery to make it easier for you to understand, but it didn't happen exactly like that.

D: Still, it is terribly difficult, but somehow, I am getting it.

G: We spoke about the origin of the earth, now let's speak about plants and nature. What is the origin?

D: Ah, I have completely forgotten the main subject. Why does nature exist? What is its origin?

G: I want to clarify the origin of the earth which is the foundation of nature's existence. Then let me tell you the hint when thinking about the origin of nature. What is the difference between plant and animal.

D: The difference between plant and animal?

Origin of The Earth (No.1)

Do we understand the meaning of our lives when we think about the origin of the earth? (No.1)

(December 27, 2008 No.4)

Hello, everybody. This is Dragon.

To come straight to the point, I would like to re-introduce the conversation with the god from the other day, be warned it is very long.

G: Guardian deity, Kamisama
D: Dragon (Younger brother)
A: Aniki, channeler (Older brother)

Was a god, a god when he was born?

D: Aniki, I like to speak to Kamisama. Are you ready?

A: Of course. He is already listening.

*As for Aniki, he channels by speaking to Kamisama like the normal conversation. He doesn't need to straightened his posture nor enter a meditative state. To me, three people speaking together, but to others it looks like the conversation between two persons.

D: Thank you very much. Well, I have a question.

G: Yes, what would you like to know?

D: Is a god born as a god?

G: The answer is sometimes yes and sometimes no.

D: Were any of these gods a human before?

G: Yes, there are many like that.

D: Many!? Really? Then, are there any other ways gods are born?

G: Yes, there are more. For example, a god of nature exists.

D: A god of nature? Woods or waterfall?

G: Yes, mountains as well. For example, as in Mt. Fuji, people believed since ancient times that there is a god dwelling in everything in nature.

D: Hmm....! Then is Mt. Fuji the god? Or is there a god living inside Mt. Fuji?

G: No... It is a little different. For example, gods are called by the feelings of "appreciation" and "reverence" felt by the people, when they are looking at that specific thing in nature. "

D: Really? Then at first, does man worships nature in general or there is an object...

G: Yes, for example, with a rock, it is the same thing. From ancient times, in Japan, people believed that a god would sit on a rock, it was called "Iwaza" (Japanese word). When man thinks "the god must be sitting on the rock. It is blessing." The god recognized the pious feeling that made the man feel good, therefore he stayed there. That is the way it works."

D: Then, the god wasn't there first, man's pious feeling was first!?

G: It is okay to think that way.

D: Then, a god who used be a human will dwell on the nature?

G: Umm, no... it is different.

D: Wow, it is complicated! Where does gods of nature come from?

G: Well, gods of nature have evolved over times. It is like a DNA, and you may think of it like a gene.

D: DNA? Wow, it is hard to imagine... Any way, has it been going on for a long time?

G: Yes. It is a mysterious story. Dragon, don't you want to know the origin of gods of nature which explain the meaning of DNA?

D: Sure, I would love to.

Why was the nature /earth created?

G: For instance in nature, why does the plant put out the bud, which flowers, turns to seed, dies naturally and then keeps the cycle going? Was it by chance?

(This god doesn't answer important questions right away. He wants you to think for yourself as much as possible.)

D: Oh, by the way, an acquaintance of mine, when he was a young boy, wondered why there are so many trees in the mountain. Who planted them? He was always thinking about it.

G: It is a wonderful question. By the way, nature was not entirely started by us first.

D: Then did plants grow by themselves?

G: Strictly speaking, not independently, but gods didn't actually plant them.

D: Uhhh..... what is the reason why plants started? Very difficult to think about...

G: Well, Dragon. Why? In this question and its answer will bring you to closer to the gods.

(A few minutes passed while Dragon groaned.)

G: Dragon, are you ready? Let's think from the bases more. The earth has abundant nature. To begin with, how do you think the earth was created?

D: Woo..., the question is huge, may I first confirm the original theory of the creation of the universe as I understand it?

G: Please.

D: I have occasionally read a book which explains the big-bang theory as a cosmic explosion and a lot of gases appearing and expanding rapidly.

G: Oh, roughly saying, it is okay.

D: Oh! So okay! Then several billion years after the big-bang, the earth appeared?

G: Yes. Then why was the earth created?

D: Well, physically speaking, it was probably formed by joining dust and gas in space.

G: Yes, then why the gas was gathered?

D: Well, gravitation?"

G: Hoo. Why it was gathered by using gravity?"

D: Why? Ahh...?"

G: Dragon, we are now trying to understand "the origin of the earth". It is obviously difficult.

D: Woo, it is really difficult...

(A few minutes passed without any answer.)

The hint is sun.

G: It seems to be considerably difficult for you. Then, let's give you the hint.

D: Yes, please!

G: The hint is the sun.

D: Does it mean a lot of fixed starts in the universe?

G: No, you can imagine that the sun you see every day.

D: The sun itself... Hmm.... The sun, hot, fire, light...

Do you take present moment for granted?

G: Dragon, your face looks like it has a problem.

D: Difficult... I have sour face anyhow.

G: Ha, ha, ha. Dragon, by the way, you are a human?

D: Yes, I think so.

G: Dragon, for instance, what do you think your body?

D: Well, I appreciate it.

G: Very good. Don't you think a human has a well designed frame, muscles, intelligence, organizational skills, scientific capability and financial acuity. Do you not think it is terrific?

D: Yes, I think it is terrific.

G: That is right, but most of the people take their existence for granted.

D: It's hard to hear.

G: How wonderful to be born as a human, it is the most wonderful thing, only a few people think this.

D: Yes...

G: Of course, once a while, there is a person who seriously thinks about the reason why he/she was born. In another words, they search for who they are, they seek the truth about the meaning of life.

D: I see. Certainly, most of the time, including me, we do not think about it.

G: So, there are a lot of people living for pleasure in the moment. They do not search for their true paths or the meaning of their lives.

D: But isn't it okay to live a life that way?

G: Of course, it is a fantastic experience. A human grows up in the stages. However, there are people who die worrying and regretting not having found their true paths.

D: Uhh. I see. Think of myself, I understand the worry.

G: You don't need to have regrets. Everyone tries to live their lives as best as they can, however, in order to lead a full life, it is very good to search for the meaning of it.

D: Certainly!

G: Also, searching for the meaning of why this earth was created this time around, will help you to understand the meaning of your own life.

D: Oh! That is great!

G: Now, keep thinking. The hint is the sun. The sun's function itself shows the function of the universe.

D: ....Let me think it again.

A: Excuse me! Please refill my coffee! (We were doing this at a cafe.)

Continue...

(Let's think this together.)

To know the previous life, is it to live in the past?

(December 13, 2008 No.3)

In the previous entry I recounted a previous life of Aniki and mine as told by Kamisama (god in Japanese.)

Persons interested in these ideas might say "I want to know my past lives". (I wondered for a long time and thanks to Aniki and Kamisama's help, I now know about my past lives.)

Some of you may have seen or have already heard your previous life by some methods.

Well, one day when I was talking to the god through Aniki, I had such a doubt cross my mind that I questioned the god.

G: Kamisama (god in Japanese)
D: Dragon (Me, Younger brother)
A: Aniki (Older brother)

D: Kamisama, thank you for telling me my past life.

G: You are welcome. I would like to express my gratitude as well.

D: But I have this question. Really, should I know about my previous lives?

G: What do you mean?

D: Though it was very welcome that I learned about my previous life, I thought, there might possibly be 'a hidden danger to live in the past by knowing my previous life.

G: Hmm, continue.

D: For example, there was time when I was a general.

G: Dragon, Most of your past lives were related to wars.

D: Really! Hmm..., but I am not convinced...

G: Ha, ha, ha. But you were a serviceman who had a strong faith.

D: Thank you very much. Then this is my core question.

G: Okay.

D: I was glad somehow to hear that I was a serviceman who had a belief, but when I think of it now, I feel like I am stuck in that time. For instance, for me, when I live my normal life, I feel like I should live like a serviceman with dignity.

G: Indeed. By knowing past lives, some current lives are impacted by the knowledge?

D: Yes, it is like that. It seems like I am living in the past. Rather, it might be better not to know my previous life and concentrate on today's life and fulfill the life that I have given. Do you agree?

G: That is a good question. Well, I will tell you "how to associate with the previous life" Dragon. The previous life just should be "looked at".

D: Looked at?

G: Yes. For instance, when you look at sunset, do you think it is beautiful?

D: Yes, I think so.

G: Look at your previous life the same way that you look at the sunset.

D: Hmm. It is a little difficult for me to think that way.

G: Is it? For instance, if your previous life was a miserable one, tell yourself, I did my best. I wish it could have been a happy life, but I did my best.

D: Is it okay to look at it so lightly?

G: Indeed. Look at past lives like the scenery out of car's window.

D: I see. I think I understand.

G: Dragon. When you look at the sunset, does it mean that you are experiencing a past life?

D: No, it doesn't. I am just moved by the sunset's beauty.

G: It is so. Enjoy your previous life like you would enjoy the evening sunset.

D: I think I understand. I will appreciate myself in my past lives. Thank you.

G: You are welcome. Thank you.

It will give my a great pleasure if you remember this. Dragon.

What we learn about our previous lives from the god

2008-12-13 13:28:24
December 13, 2008 No.2

I can't believe the weather, it doesn't seem like December, sometimes it is warm and then all of a sudden the cold weather comes back. There have been intense temperature changes. How are you surviving in this weather?

Well, in some of my previous lives I already was taught by Kamisama.

Aniki and I have especially strong souls' ties, we have been together many times in this era, up 'til now. At certain times, we were brothers or best friends. We seem to have spent a lot of lives together.

I will introduce one of the previous lives. (By the way, Aniki seems to agree with this previous life which has been in his dreams so many times since he was very young.)

The location and the name can't be mentioned here, but it was about 800 B.C.

Aniki and I were brothers. We were very poor from an early age and lived in the poorest of poor places. In the government, officials were corrupt. The rich-poor gap was increasing and people were forced to live in severe conditions.

One day, when Aniki became a young man, he received a revelation. (He heard the same voice as now.)

It was a message "Save this world". (It is a huge revelation, isn't it...)

Aniki and I were vigorous young men, we took action to save the world. And though the scale was small, strong men came and organized military forces. The idea was "Knock down the rotting politics and establish a world of justice!" and it provoked the war with government troops.

It was a time of disorder, the brothers' ideas were widely accepted. The number of soldiers increased and war dominated our whole world.

Aniki became a religious leader. he brought people's minds together with a so called ceremony of oneness. (It seems to have been a ceremony similar to baptism: applying consecrated water to the foreheads of the believers in the temple built on the mountain).

I became a general, and came to move military forces of tens of thousands of people a day.

However, as the military grew, so called "Rouzekisha" disorderly men enlisted in the military to eat. To our regret, our existence became unpopular and disowned by the people. (My management must have been bad.)

The war situation became bad for us but we continue to fight. However, the government troops recovered power and cornered us. Aniki and I ended in cruel death. This was a tragic story.

By the way, we were told the full detail as the historical background, the location and the name, and etc. When we examined it later, we were surprised to find it matched with the historical facts in every part of this story. There is a part that doesn't match though, and the god said that "complete facts are not told in history books".

I roughly introduced one of the previous lives of Aniki and me.

According to Kamisama, man surely has a lot of previous lives. The good relationship with someone now might have been a deep relationship in a previous life. It is possible.

Any way, being able to have more love by hearing such a story (about a good relationship with a person) is my "Discovery".

Is it a sense that becomes like the feeling of "Comrade-in-arms" that holds us together for a long time, and the thoughtfulness and appreciation increases somehow?

Regardless of knowing or not knowing our previous live, we are likely to have better relationships with the people we associate with now.

*By the way, Kamisama says that a man with a bad relation has also strong relation of the soul as well. We will talk about it in another time.

First, Introducing Ourselves

(December 10, 2008, No.1)
Nice to meet you, everyone. My name is Dragon. I am a 30-year-old-man.

I have an older brother. I call him Aniki (Older brother in Japanese). He got a special talent when he was in fifth grade. All of a sudden, he started hearing "a voice".(Did I surprise you with a mysterious story?) He became a channeler to be able to talk with guardian deity, Kamisama (god in Japanese).

At first, he thought his brain was going crazy, but the voice kept coming. He was troubled with the condition, but he realized that the "voice" tended to help him. So he thought let it be. (He realized the "voice" was from Kamisama.

"Well, it can't be helped, don't bother". (He is a very easy going guy! Sometimes he is too easy.)

The talking Kamisama was disappeared from him several years later. Then another Kamisama came and stayed with Aniki for several years.

It describes it "Yaoyorozu" which means there are 8,000,000 Kamisama (according to Japanese mythology). Each Kamisama has different characters. One Kamisama was very aggressive and with my short temper, I had a big argument during one conversation with him through Aniki.

Basically, Aniki has only one Kamisama near him, but several years ago, Aniki started talking to this overwhelmingly splended Kamisama. (Of course, other gods are splendid as well.)

His words and his way of thinking are filled with kind thoughts towards people and the earth, and also his knowledge is vast. Above all, he is always gentle with positive tone which we are impressed by. (To tell the truth, this Kamisama has been with Aniki since he was born, but waiting for Aniki to mature. Kamisama thought it is time, so he started talking to Aniki.)

Then, we thought that we shouldn't waste this inspiration and should share with others. This is the intention of this blog.

We are far from so-called spiritual/metaphysical works and we don't have confidence with such knowledge and we might say irrelevant comments, but both Aniki and I will do our best to implement our duties. Thank you very much.

By the way,

We are irreligous. In addition, we are not trying to make a new religion or like a religioun at all.(But I love a philosophical part of religion personally.)

In the end, I greatly appreciate to Kamisama (He has a name, we may be able to tell you in the future.)who approved this project willingly and my brogher, Aniki who agreed to do this channeling in spite of his busy schedule. In fact, this conversation with Kamisama is very tiring to Aniki. I am sure it is the same to Kamisama.

With the grace of God, thank you, Kamisama and Aniki.
